The Girl Empowerment Conference (TGEC) is a youth-led initiative that has empowered over a thousand young wāhine – both those who participate in the event and those who help bring it to life. TGEC encourages female students to explore the world of business while still in high school, outside of the traditional classroom setting.
Globally, youth empowerment is more important than ever—and TGEC gives students a rare platform to connect with industry professionals and explore real-world solutions to global challenges. In 2025, we connected over 200 high school students with mentors across education, government, and business sectors. This conference equips young women with early exposure to the world of commerce, helping them imagine—and prepare for—a future as leaders in the business world.
